last day of the year

what are you doing today?

last night i started editing andrew's part...windows open, candles lit, i really made it a spiritual experience. I think I could be a writer living out in Narcoossee again, it's a great place. Wakeskated and skated with mr. rick nailor who was in town from the island for a few days. He chilled in narc and we had some great flatrail sessions. The weather is beautiful here in orlando and im' guessing so throughout the rest of Florida. Andy, we miss you dearly, i'm bummed you're going to be gone for KL's birthday (the 2nd), or are you? To all you other people out there, have a fun last day of 2008, pray for '09 and drive safe tonight.

Johnny and I are headin' to the 941 to bring in the new year....party on.

i'm a mess

i cant smile, i cant sleep, i cant think straight until this video is done. I feel constantly tortured by time and ideas, I am forever berated by different ways to make the video, different ways to do things, lost footage, ender enders, all at the same time battling the clock to get the video done. will it be done right? will there be regrets? what if i forget stuff? what will the bonus features be? what will we use for the dvd backgrounds? what will andrew pastura land next? will fun boots! be done before nick moves away? there are so many different ways to make a video that it seems torturous to choose just one way. so many opportunities, so many trails you can go down... aaaaaAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

please send care packages and kind words.

brinking on the edge of insanity,
-david.

a Pastura Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Pastura gang

drive safe everybody

-Scene One

ho ho ho

merry christmas all you fun boots! enthusiasts. its been a while since i have been on here. its actually been pretty sad when ever i go onto the internet i dont make it past facebook these days. i have been living my life one notification at a time, i mean its gotten so bad i saw the monday cover last night. but luckily i have been doing a good amount of editing. stu came over the other day to hang out and throw some input in his part, which was very successful. we decided on a different song which is now one of my favorites in the video for sure. unfortunately for wakeskating stu will be foced to retire from the sport because i just got news that he got guitar hero for christmas which means he will never leave his living room. dont be surprised if u see a bob dylan look alike peddling down university on a beach cruiser with a fun boots! tank. my 21st is 8 days away and counting..... oh god!

trav and stu came into town yesterday (rowdy), so i belive some Nan shredding is about to go down.

i'm trying to make it out to narcoossee before christmas, packing up the basset and my editing computer and heading out there later today (i hope).

not sure what kL is doing.

and as far as the video is going, it's looking pretty great. I think keith is going to have some awesome stuff to show me next time i get over there. clint your part is looking sweet!!

we made it!

i'm pretty sure (but not positive) that is has indeed been one full week since we shamelessly self promoted ourselves on this blog. it feels good to be a better person. Keith and I really have been editing as much as possible, all while trying to finish up this semester strong at school. Only two more weeks and i am home free to edit from sun-up to sundown.

in other news, now that thanksgiving is past there is nothing standing between now and decking the halls of our house with christmas cheer and having a jolly raging 2nd Annual Sweater Party (Angelo you better be here!). You guys are invited. Keith and I decided combining any sort of sweaterness with the video premier would be too much awesomeness for one night, so they will be seperated. yeah, december is gonna get rowdy.

dog show

hey keith i'm up in north carolina and just finished watching the Purina Pro Dog Show on NBC. I was really proud to see Noodles the bassett hound walk/waddle away with the gold in the Hounds category. It literally could not open its eyes. Noodles...What a great representative for our bassett friends. I'll see you guys in Orlando when I get off of this mountain.

kirby+spybar=silly times

bassets still annoy the hell out of me. there is a new 21 yr old in orlando and he goes by the name of dan, he might be the future mayor of the city beautiful. in other news robert amis brazell is in orlando this week to spend time with a tall ginger and his family. hes been shredding the school books and the local college bars up at the world renowned tallahassee community college. keaton bowlby is blowin up after his trick of the week on alliance, but hes still keepin it humble and on what he claims to be "the longest drive ever" to socal. hey keaton your drive to orlando in the spring is gonna whoop you. i can see my class starting i gotta go.

Monday, November 24, 2008

i woke up today.

Bassets stand for glory

Well it's been some good days at Lake Irma chillin "made in the shade" style, going through a grocery bag of 17 tapes that keith gave me. Luckily a lot of them just have about ten minutes of footage on em and that's it. bangerz. So I'm almost done going through all the tapes and then it's time to make some parts happen. Wow. Keith I am getting the same calls from Trav too, I'm sure I could take one for the team and go down there for a day or two, B-Town is always a pleasure.

...alright just got off the phone with Trav, well looks like I'm headin there tomorrow after school. Keith this ruins all our credibility on aws.com, we can't be seen as flakes on the blog board!!! it's okay, i'm sure the bangers will make up for it.

I feel as though it is a pure cruel twist of fate that should keep you from spreading your wings and soaring to that Lionel concert, kL, I'm sure they could have used some crowd surfing! We need to get together and have a glory run at the cable park once we finish this vid, buddy. talk to ya then.

941 here I come.

footage

i got a shit ton of it and more keeps coming. keaton overnighted me a tape labeled "time to dance <3>
trav and tom are living the good life down in the941 hangin out with nicholas vail taylor quite a bit now. even though the cameras are off, im still gettin calls every day with trav screaming into the phone " w-i-l-d m-a-n guess what went down in the rail park today.......i was blindfolded the whole time."  hopefully we can get one last film set down there before we get done editing so we can get those bangers in........ dave i think you need to go down there for a couple days.

i wakeskated today it was fun.

editing update

well i dont know if anyone knows this but we are nearing the end of an epic journey called fun boots! its wild but the good news is we are still having a blast. i just got bens song today for his part and it is awesome, im so excited to do his part and thanks to dave he saved me days of cutting down footage and did it himself...... what a classy gentleman. i hope everyone doesn't think nicky t's part is gonna be an average "look we get to film nick taylor" part. oh and all i can say is stu shreds. (just a heads up those are the parts im editing ben, nick, stu, im also doing the intro). in other news andy wont stop doing tricks that haven't ever been done before. i think he gets bored with all those other ones.

pool decks own all.

lionel richie played at the convention center tonight in orlando for a realtors convention and i wanted to go really bad. but for some reason everyone that i told that i wanted to go thought i was gay for wanting to go see nicole richies dad perform in front of 15000 people, but in all honesty who wouldnt want to go see that. for those who care i asked some one that went and they told me that he did sing all night long and that was his ender ender.

Fun Boots! hits Narcoossee and WRAPS UP

Well well well, who would have thought there would ever be in an end to the epic saga of infiniteness known as Bun Foots!? But that was the plan, like "Hey maybe we should like, STOP filming someday? Bro?" When we sat to think about it, it became pretty clear that Esoteric was pretty much only done because of Narcoossee and Lake Whippoorwill, my home land and the place nearest to my heart, where bassetts play and fields sway in the wind behind pool gaps of stolen lumber.

Starting the middle of last week I made my station in Narc to begin readying things for whatever our cast of superstars would want to shred: rails, pool gaps, boat, jetski, winch, cable, wait no cable, etc. Ben was still around from the Jax trip so him and Drew and I put together a little flatrail in front of my dock, but unfortunately the Great Wind From the North came down upon us the next morning and left the rail pretty unhittable and pretty undesirable. Darn. Ben headed back to Jax for some Halloween fun but Drew was still around and was joined soon by Nicky T who came up Wednesday night.

Thursday we got done with the rest of the construction of the pool gap and began getting some tricks banged out on Friday and the rest of the weekend. It was sad not having the rest of the cast here: Hooker out with an injured ankle still (but he is coming back strong now!), Travis feeling under the weather, Stu... who knows, and clint in texas. We felt them here in spirit though, that is for sure. Especially Trav <3

Tyler MANgus gave us a great little visit Saturday morning and put down some bangers on the pool before heading back home that night. What a TRUEper. Welcome to the grannie gap Tyler. Andrew threw down as always, lovin the gap out of the pool and LOVIN his body varials....on the rail!!!! pretty mind blowing, i know. Speaking of which, have you ever seen Nick do any lock in tricks? Neither have I, until this weekend. Well he picked that up pretty quick and didn't set it down til he had sufficiently conquered that ledge with every form of legit grind he could think of.

The weekend was up, but we decided to go for one more day today (Monday) to get some last minute footage on the lake. It was a completely memorable feeling in a completely ordinary day back home to recognize what has past and look to the promising future of putting this bad boy together onto a skinny little silver disc.

There you have it: Monday, November 3, 2008. Fun Boots! filming is complete.

See you guys at the premier.

-Dave

to keith

Dear Keith,

I was just reading the Obscura Blog, which I am absolutely going to start reading more because it is amazing, and I really like how those guys pretty much converse with each other throughout the blog. It's like they are talking to us WHILE talking to each other. Really beautiful. We should start doing the same thing I think. It seems a little pointless because we don't live across the nation from each other, but still it's worth a shot. I wish I could just jump into that Obscura Blog and we could transform it into a big floaty chatroom that we could all jump around in like little kids at a party before the pinata is broken. I feel like I actually know those guys now, it's as if they are blogging just for me (tear falling down cheek).

sincerely,
davey

JAX TRIP

Well Ben and Andrew and I jumped in the truck last saturday morning and headed out towards some shredding promises in Jacksonville and Palm Coast for the weekend. If you guys didn't already know, we are wrapping up Fun Boots! filming THIS WEEKEND, so we are trying to squeeze everything in as fast as we can and finish off strong. Anyway, back to the Jax trip.

We started out heading north towards a few gaps in Palm Coast right off the highway. After scoping several of them that seemed like low water levels, we went to the old trusty Palm Coast gap right off the highway and started hitting that bad boy like there was no tomorrow. Tyler Mangus met up with us and was dropping hammers in a matter of a few pulls. Ben and Andrew took their turns and then it was time to keep cruising north.

We got into Jax and started touring around the different spots following our trusty local, Tyler. He took us to about 4 or 5 that we had to choose from that day. It was starting to get late so we cruised over to this perfect waterfall gap... the ONLY problem with this drop was the location: right in the entrance to a golf community. Luckily we got away this night no problem, but we wouldn't be so lucky the next day. Ben's girlfriend and her family were nice enough to let us crash there, we were ever so grateful for the good meals and warm beds, thanks so much Jones family!

The next morning we got going to this crazy little ledge spot we found last time we were in Jax. this spot itself is likely to blow your mind, but not before the stuff Andrew was doing on it does. Tyler took us after that to another spot we had hit before, pretty much a huge ollie drop out of the entrance to this neighborhood, pretty key for filmabilities. It was late enough now to make it back to the golf course gap, but we were kicked out after not too long.

The trip was a fun little journey north and it's always good seeing Tyler and the other homies up there. Thanks to everyone.

epic journeys

well i have been stuck in a room for a while editing my life away all for the sake of fun boots!

last night i was able to break wild and tj and i popped our collars and went to a little place called devanys. and we got wild. im met top hat and that kid likes to party. tj had a great performance last night for sure.  here is the list of songs that played out in a row last night there.  cascada- everytime we touch, haddaway-  what is love, david guetta- love is gone, and then back that ass up ended that little set it was wild. the bad part is tj didnt miss one word he sang everyone of those songs on key! it was a good night for sure.

ben and andy are getting bigger in texas. check out obscura wakeskates for more info on whats goin on out there.

lazy moon

lazy moon is the demise of fun boots!... but not really. it's probably more like UCF is the demise of Fun Boots!

actually, scratch that, there is no demise, because Keith and I just picked up some SASSY (with a capital everything) fun boots! tank tops that we have decided not to take off until after the video is done.

pressure pressure pressure... we are editing at breakneck speeds and picking out more and more songs each day. I just put some great jams behind a few of the sections and am definitely digging how she's lookin.

last month of filming! ahhhhh!!! Andrew and Ben are heading to the Lone Star State to indulge in its plethora of winchabilities, maybe some video will come of it all as well, who knows. We got some big plans for what we can make happen for the rest of this month. CAn you say "Narcoossee Extravaganza"? The Narc and Lake Whippoorwill is pretty much HOW we made esoteric, and it seems fitting to wrap up Fun Boots! at the same spot. Lots of rails, the grandma gap version 2.0, and all the boat and ski riding you could handle. And if these dudes want to get a little wild there is even a perfect spot to hone in on your footplanting skills.

stay tuned.

octubre

i got spanish on the mind... would it be rad if our whole video was in spanish? If we have any fluent readers on here, please go to our myspace (www.myspace.com/scene1productions) and leave us a comment on there with the translation for "Fun Boots!" into spanish. I already know it's going to have 2 exclamation marks, including one upside down, and that gets me pretty excited. Why doesn't english do that?

well here we are in the midst of the month of october and the shredding is upon us. Hooker got broken off at dr. philips so him and i are recovering nicely with each other, we should be back in about another month or two. But Andy P is still raging around town shutting down winch spots left and right. This is planning on being our last month of filming, so it's likely some good stuff is going to go down. Wow, just thinking i may see the end to Fun Boots! one day is nearly unthinkable...

Keep in touch

the teaser!!!

well i tried to get the teaser to embed onto this blog, but for some reason google blocks it...whatever. but pretty much if you havent seen our teaser yet for Fun Boots!, then go watch it RIGHT NOW!!

http://www.alliancewakeskate.com/videos_xl.php?id=536

We premiered it on Saturday of Surf Expo...yeah i know that was a couple of weeks ago and we've been slacking on the blog a little bit. Not to worry, because that only means our time has been getting spent elsewhere, on editing footage and getting more filming done. Keith just got some more footage at Stu's house where they rode on this sick bayou right behind his house, getting foot-age of all those crazy 941ers. I swear, it makes more sense to just live down there and film this video, keith let's move to the island. Anyway, Drew is back in town, and him and Gib and TJ have been getting their shred on. As well as some good ol' kickin back at Lake Nan. long live.

Other big news:
FUN BOOTS! T-shirts have been ordered today! Unfortunately they are of limited supply...for now. You'll be seeing em once they're done.

as we speak

...i am putting together an amazing teaser for Fun Boots! if this thing doesn't pump you guys up, I don't know what will. All i gotta say is kneeboards, wetsuits, neon colors, and Metro West. yeah, you do the math. The teaser shoot was kind of a bitch, it was raining and dark and cloudy, then on top of all that BOTH winches we had went out on us. Kind of a bummer, but we def still got some sick stuff on film!! I have been doing nothing but logging logging logging footage footy footage. So much. This stuff is looking sick, i gotta go, but be ready for this thing to drop hard!

well whats new

lets see lets see, my life lately has consisted of some bit of chaos. mostly starting school back up, raising my new puppy ("Boss"), and putting in lots and lots of footage for Fun Boots!. Kind of mind blowing really, I wasn't even sure we had that much footage. But sure enough, tape after tape we are cranking them in. Still planning on having our teaser done for expo, but we haven't done the majority of work that needs to be done for that to happen...such is life. it will be done, we are just "Justin Stephens-ing" ourselves, as keith and i call it (check out some of the bonus parts from his movies, he is insane!). did some shooting a couple days ago around the house for the names, trying to get a little creative with it, know what i mean? Well idk, i'm in some trendy UCF coffee house right now trying to use their internet cuz for some reason mine at my house is not happy with me. And i think they're getting heated at me for not buying their 6 dollar smoothie in return for the supposed "free wi-fi!" hairyness, i'll hit this thing up later.

hallelujah texas

just got clint's footage for his part.

that's all.

party till u puke- andrew w k

wow so this weekend was one for the books! on thursday i had an ichat conversation with reeder and we decided the best way to spend our weekend was to go to virginia see rick ross, drive through tropical storm fay and get a little rowdy with the local virginia crew. we ended up having a great time even though "the boss" only played for 30 mins. the next morning the bojangles cashier put it best when she looked at reeder and myself and said "that nigga was terrible."we definitely didn't end our night after the show! some how we ended up at this bar we started and danced the night away virginia style. it was for sure the right way to end a summer break! i think

oh and for the record florida is not the only place i have puked anymore! thanks reeder

Collin Gee and T.J G's whats happenin'

Alright everybody here's the deal.. these last few days here at the beautiful homestead at lake Irma have been nothing short of Esoteric. Honestly, i don't even know where to start. First off, let's go ahead and confirm/congratulate Gib Gibbons on the first ever laser flip on Monday morning ..mad props to you buddy, you are the man. Moving on, TJ and I have been joining the late shuv crowd, im not going to lie, we have been enjoying those and to add to that, hardflips. Saturday was a very eventful day as well. The intro/teaser for Fun Boots! was successfully filmed and not to mention a blast boosting down metro west on anything but a wakeskate. All the shredders in the video came out, with the exception of one.. cough cough (exhaust pipes.) All in all it has been getting real rowdy here in Orlando these last couple of days. Speaking of Fun Boots! Travis Doran's part in the new video is shaping up to be a blower of minds to say the least. So with that said, i could not be more stoked to be in Orlando for this week, shredding with the True's, gettin good footy and getting rowdy, which is what we do best. Also, there is pretty convincing evidence that there is an unknown living creature of large proportion inhabiting Lake Irma. So heres whats happenin'.. C. G. and T.G. are chunkin' the deuce. Peace Easy.

let the rain come down-toni childs

sorry we have ignored this beautiful blog lately. i was at the beach for 4 days then Collin gee came in town. period.

this past weekend we did a little video shoot that involved some islanders, orlandoinians, one rowdy texan and daves new roomies. it was a good time for sure and the day ended with lazy moon so it was awesome. dave doesn't have internet at his new house but they do have super smash and thats all that matters.

if you live in the best state ever you probably know about some rain storm called hurricane fay coming our way. i have a feeling that there might be some nice new shedding arenas after this storm is over. i am gonna be staying at the rosen centre to make sure everyone can have some beers while the watch the storm go by. dave is probably gonna jam out on his harmonica while Collin continuously watches esoteric. just my guess.

gotta love the O

hey hey hey hey whats been going on in orlando? a dance party has been goin on thats what! after hooker and ben shredded some docks the other day, we decided to go out on hookers lake the next day and get a little creative. we found some cute little sliding apparatuses, and a spot to do some flat water filming (thats filming when there aren't rails,  gaps or super duper wakes). it was fun ben really got into a funboots! mood and put down some silly lines.

dave is in north carolina helping the parents build a house. yeah hes manly like that. he should be back on the 12 ish i think and then all i can say is what we are gonna be doing the next couple days after that you will see at surf expo. but on my side of this whole wakeskating thing i have been just been importing a ton of footage and wishing my last name was kirby.

everyone check out obscura's blog to see who gets the myspace page of the day that aaron is doing, you never know it might just be you. and also when you get the new wakeboarding mag look at the pro playlist with mr. hampson. it is all the greatest music ever made!

its 5 o'clock somewhere

well i am sitting here at my house after a pretty entertaining weekend ranging from spending some quality time at the beach to friends coming into town to day parties on clear lake. but there was no wakeskating involved....until today when i saw hooker and ben do some impressive stuff on some docks on lake fairview and all i can say is WOW! those guys know how to shred! we happen to have the chance to meet some of the people who owned these very docks which made for a very nice end of the day (sarcasm).

right now though i am wondering why i dont have jimmy buffett's collection on my computer, damn you robbie. but thanks to you tube i am enjoying it all legally. speaking of robbie brazell i saw him at conway and gatlin today and he is leaving for tally on saturday so all you robbie brazell fans get your hugs and beer time in with him before then!

by the way if you didnt go to brostock because you must have been dying from a disease watch craig morgans music video to redneck yacht club and multiply that by 10 and that was pretty much it. oh and add people falling off the houseboats not intentionally.

941 success!

just got back last night from an awesome few days in the great land of Bradenton, Florida/Anna Maria Island (which will both just be referred to as "the 941" from here on out). Did several days of shooting with Travis Doran and Stuart Shinn, we are working hard to finish up those guys' sections. It looks like now those two just have a little bit more rail footage and winching stuff to get done and their sections will be looking pretty d-o-n-e. hallelujah holla back. We got some great chase boat angles the first day I was there, Stu landed some new stuff that no one has ever done before... I'm pretty sure you guys will be stoked. Trav was just slipping out on the elusive back big flip, i'm sure you'll be seeing that trick stomped clean time his part is done. We also got some footage from this 2 story high dock that came out real good. Tube shots on the last day i was there, that is always pretty gnarly to make happen. Lastly, we got to enjoy some great sunset shredding with Nick on the island and got some awesome shots, until Johnny Law had to come and spoil all our fun. booooo!!!

All in all, awesome trip, we got some great stuff done and there will be more of it coming soon!

what's been goin' on

woo wa wee wa

well keith and i settling back in at home in orlando but have been pretty stacked with work and other random stuff to get any filming done lately. HOWEVER, that is ALL about to change. We got some big plans ahead. I am planning a trip to Bradenton that looks like it will be happening tomorrow morning and lasting for a couple days, consisting mostly entirely of filming the crap out of Stuart Shinn, Travis Doran, and Nick Taylor. Crunch time is nearly upon us and it's about to get pretty intense. I know these kids have some bangers that have yet to be documented, and I think i might just take it upon myself to be the first to do so.

Aside from that there is some more news on everyone:
Matt Hooker is preparing to make the long drive back from New York starting next week, and that dude wants to film. So get ready for that wild man to put on his dancing shoes and make some magic.
Andrew Pastura is straight CHILLIN' up in the Buckeye State, no doubt learning new tricks constantly and watching his little bro Austin grow up into a shredding machine. Watch out for some footy of that little grom in Fun Boots!
Just talked to Reed a little bit on the phone, he's got some cool ideas to wants us to come shoot. Nice.

Anyway, I got a good feeling i'm going to get pretty stressed out these next couple months, but an empty wallet and a weekly school schedule are just simply going to have to be overcome by the powers of Fun Boots! Do it for Fun Boots!!!!!!

Awesome People

these are all the people who we would like to thank/partied really hard during the brostock trip:

first and foremost team blue prius (the Reeder brothers),Mr and Mrs Reeder, Roland Lugo Andy Warden, Brian Wyatt, Rich G, Micah Gaudio of Wake N Skate, Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson, James Balzer, Shane Bonifay, Collin Harrington, Silias Thurman, Aaron Grace-thanks for the beer, Andy Krich-you know how to party, everyone from lake high rock, Liz Murray, Adam Fields, Zach Ashton, Jimmy Watson, Shawn Watson, Bobby Schuller, Gib Gibbons, Andrew Fortunharry, the Conway sisters-lol, Bruce and Sara-Kate, Cabel, Busch, Busch Light, Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Lite, and most importantly Miller High Life-we couldn't have done it with out you. to everyone who we forgot sorry just yell at us we will remember next time.

go to obscurawakeskates.com to see what aaron and danny thought of brostock too!!

"You've just been brostocked!"

that was the saying for events such as this:

Photobucket

KL was in the prime of his life this last week or so up in the beautiful state of Virginia, US of A. There's not too much more I could say about it that keef didn't already relay below this, but pretty much YES, it was a great time and smith Mountain Lake is seriously epic. Chances are, if you live in Virginia you are the shiznit, cuz there are some damn cool people up there. Thanks so much to everyone for their hospitality and friendships. You really know how to show some people a good time.

Filming-wise up in VA it went a little differently than we had planned. Stu ended up not making it (for reasons still unknown to me), and Andy got real sick and couldn't make the drive. So we weren't hanging with too many wakeskaters filming for us, but we did get to witness Danny Hampson a little more-than-tipsy go shred the crap out of 3 boat passes right in front of the houseboats for a little LF SST demo. All i gotta say is 3 passes and this wild man went HS late frontbig, switch late front shuv, to front 3 all in a row, then turned around and did the BEST late front 3 shove known to man! First try! Pretty much danny is my hero. There was lots of "chillin" and "gellin" goin' on, lots of swimming, taking in the glory of SML, smuggling some broomsticks, driving our Priuses, wakesurfing, super 8 filming, and more photo glory. There were some pretty cool dogs up there too but no one probably wants to hear about that. Lastly to mention is the great harmonica/guitar jam sesh we had going on the last night of the trip, we need more of that musical bonding happening in our industry. alright well i could probably write a lot more, but oh well

woah

yeah thats right we all survived brostock (i think?). it was a great time for sure from jumbo margaritas to the club that went off on saturday night on Andy Krich's house boat. every one had a blast for sure (yes they all got blasted as well). also for the record the entire lf team knows how to party their faces off!!  ok so i am gonna try and give you a day by day of what we did during our trip there might be some blank spots so bare with me.

tuesday night: got the prius and left otown and headed out.
wednesday morning: 6 am BOJANGLES!! i was 8 1/2 hours deep driving and had-not slept yet it was the best breakfast ever!
8am: shredding shredding shredding for a good part of the day and then we hit the drinks got some food and repeated cycle
night timeish: met up with all the liquid force guys to find that they have already started partying with out us. we danced the night away and left dave at the house because he had danced a little too hard.
thursday: we were supposed to pick dave up at around 830 and didn't wake up till 10ish and slowly made our way to the lf house.
midday: i think we just ended up partying a little bit oh and we met up with bobby schuller and jimmy watson and went out on the boat with them.
evening: MEXICO VIEJO!!!! the best mexican restaurant ever! right when we got there i got a cool little time lapse and jumbo margarita and those didn't stop for like 4 or 5 hours. around 1030 the lf team showed up from karaoke and joined the fun. some how i ended up on their boat going back to their house with my laptop and an amazing playlist blaring out of the speakers of their boat. i ended up staying at the lf house that night
friday: morning we wake up get every thing out of the house and go get the houseboats. we pull them around to wake n skate and start dancing our faces off.
evening: a lf signing and bbq went down at wake n skate. after that we went to the reeders and cleaned up. and met all everyone up at the houseboats at the new location which was right in-front of mexico viejo.
saturday: we had the contest that fortunberry sandbagged in and took first place. also reeder ended up breaking his foot on his last trick and he ended up winning any way. all though out that day was a typical brostock day where we danced danced danced all day long! danny did one of the best demos ever seen and he looked good doin it. once the contest was done we drove the boats over to this cove in the mountain that made for a great place to party and thats when andy krich's boat went off and shane bonifay put it best "if wakeboarding and south beach had a kid this is what it would look like!" so we partied though the night and into the morning.
sunday: we all woke up later then usual and enjoyed some double ups, sun and beer. after that everyone parted their ways and we all ended up meeting up a brian wyatts house for a small little good bye party/concert provided by danny hampson.
monday: woke up at reeders, walked down to the dock and RELAXED we did nothing butt take it easy and god did that feel amazing. after we all packed up and slowly got going to depart we had to run to wake n skate one last time to exchange out some glasses and get some greenstate apparel. once we left there tommy, brian, roland, dave, liz, and myself all went to another mexican restaurant there and had one last meal before we headed out!

it was a great time i will have all my thank yous up on here later today

omgomgomgomgomg

keith aint lyin people, this may be the greatest weekend of your life coming up, it's called BroStock 2008, but fortunately for us no one is probably going to be remembering the year at all. Scene One is absolutely going to be in attendance and holding it down strong, our crew is KL, myself, and mr. Rolando the photo wizard. but that's just in our prius, we are going to be part of a little 407 caravan that will also include the reeder brothers and probably some other rowdy cool dudes. I'm pretty stoked for a little road trip like this one, ya know once you get past that like 3 or 4 hour mark you really start to zone in (aka "black out") and the road turns into a whole different animal. We ARE going to be doing some filming up there, with none other than our old friend Andy Pastura! Everyone is super stoked for his arrival up there. Stu is still kind of psyching us out on his possible attendance, who knows maybe he will just show up and blow all of our minds without us even knowing.

I talked to Matthew Hooker not too long ago, he is up in New York keeping it real in his home state and gathering footage of some crazy lock in stuff in his rail park up there... holla matt, back tails like what.

Trav still cant open his eyes.

Also talked to Clint Tompkins for quite a while yesterday and he has good news and more good news! apparently that guy is getting real crazy at his plethora of texas winch gaps, and gathering "probably more footage than you guys want." that's what i like to hear baby! No doubt his part is coming together to be epic, just you guys wait!!!

So the school-free summer is past half way over, which means that Fun Boots! is about to go into crunch time! We are going to get our lives together after brostock and get going on a ballin' teaser and intro to make your guys feet tap and hips sway, so keep your eyes out, trust me you'll know when it drops (hint hint: surf expo 08!)

stay posted, dont give up on us just yet!

PS. Stu Shinn is really really good behind the boat... you probably wouldn't believe it if i told you...

sincerely,
the deputy

virginia part 1

well i just got back from a little r&r in the beautiful state of virginia with the reeder brothers. the people are still the best and rowdier then any orlando resident for sure. how many people do you know in orlando that will rent out a bar for a night for the hell of it? we went to the wake n skate rail jam and ran into a hairy little island kid named andrew fortunberry you might know him. there was a pretty big showing for this rail jam especially for being where it was. bruce is still the man and so is our friends at green state (wyatt and andy).  oh and that kid zack does a fantastic job of holding it down for the wakeskaters on sml.  prius are good on gas but god they look gay.
i will be returning there in a week from tomorrow.  so if your coming to brostock sml be sure to say whats up to us we will be in full brostock form.  special thanks for the following people for this recent trip: brian and tommy reeder, kelly and tom reeder, andy warden and girlfriend christy, brian wyatt, micah gaudio, and all the other rowdy dance specialists that were out there. oh and cant forget about that high rock crew those people are awesome.

blackin' out

whoa.... what just happened? it's july first.

i almost completely forgot about this blog, but fortunately now it's back in my grasp. Well after Texas I went on a little relaxing sailing trip with my dad and johnny and his dad down to anna maria island and Long Boat Key... it was real chill. but unfortunately basically nothing to do with wakeskating or fun boots!, except for the one day we went and rode with Trav, pirate style. Trav or Stu call me nearly everyday with some crazy new story about tricks going down. those two are just riding with each other all day everyday and the progression is pretty nuts.

I have been straight chillin here in the Narc lately, just been putting footage in my computer, editing, checking shit out...it's lookin very nice. Johnny, Roland, and I are heading back down to the 239 pretty soon, and we're taking Trav with us too, so it's about to get real rowdy and Trav's part will be close to done after like 5 sets with the kid. I've been getting some calls from Matt Hooker from up in New York where he is stationed for the summer. He told me about some rail park he has been working on up there with like 6 rails in it already or something, guess that dude is missing the projects!!! he's been shreddin too, using those Oak Udders and learning new tricks all the time, like backtails and frontnose shuvs. Andy and Nick are in the Philippines right now, those lucky bastards, probably putting in a good 14 hours a day of pure riding time.

The next big thing for Scene One/FUN BOOTS! is going to be our Virginia trip the middle of this month. Smith Mountain Lake, helicopter shoots, BroStock, karaoke... i can't wait!

keep in touch

the filler

Well Texas is definitely the SPOT for winching, people. Clint T. had so many spots he couldn't even remember them all. Clint's section is probably going to end up being real gnarly and real sick, so get ready. That little Texas journey is pretty much exactly what we needed. Collin Gee is rowdy, he's my homeboy. First time ever winching for the young 'un, and it was just what he needed. Dude was shoving down a 5-footer first time ever hitting a drop. Talk about potential. Nick Taylor does what he does, which is shred harder than anyone with an uber-smooth style. Tell that kid happy birthday if you see him, but don't feel bad if you miss it, cuz nothing says Happy Birthday like a trip to the Philippines to wakeskate in paradise. Anyway, I hear Keith is in Bradenton right now, probably passed out in Sparta... can't blame ya buddy. I'm heading that way now for a little sailing journey, maybe KL and I will cross paths, maybe I will also come across some other dudes like Travy, Yimbo, maybe even Gombu, who knows???

Keep murking and lurking people

Texas #1

Photobucket

Just filled up the first tape from our Texas trip, and we haven't even gotten into the nitty gritty yet. The next three days are gonna get really sick. Nick and I are in some high school library across from the courtroom where Collin had to attend to some business... dont ask. But anyway, yeah, more like libr-hairy if you ask me.

I'm hungry.

Collin's parents are awesome, they fed us good and treated us like family. Good people for sure. and Collin's brother Clint is awesome too, and not too shabby at wakeboarding. This morning we walked down Collin's neighborhood to find the most perfect two gaps in a row... it was real gnar. unfortunately though, no winch. story of my life.

Winch Gaps and sich...

Started the day out at TSR today, just mellowing out after the weekend-long brodown that is the Texas Toe Jam. I played some ping pong and guitar with Ross Gardner, along with some gnarly tech decking around the facility. We spotted Davey creepin on the beach with his fro, so we called him up to the balcony where he spilled a little bit of his soul into the air with the help of Ross' guitar. Collin Gee was out on the water kicking ass with some of the smoothest kickflips in America and some rail steez for dessert. Collin gets me hella stoked every time I'm around him. My new homie Jim was out there shredding too, putting down some sick 3 shuvs and box hits on his 08 Island Style Integrity skate. Kid is way baller. Frogskins and neon boardies. After taking a few shots with my still cam, the wind let up a bunch and the line got short, setting the wakeskate mood for me and apparently the trick ski mood for Ross. Pretty intense. I threw my fins out at Backdoor a few times and got a few laybacks as well, a pretty good frontside sesh, hopefully it makes it into the vid.

We (Me, Bret Little, Collin Gee, and Dave Hanson) dried off and left the TFR (Texas Fun Ranch), to go out to dinner at Chili's (Failville, USA). Our waitress apparently can't comprehend simple concepts such as "No vegetables please" nor "Can I get that receipt please?" so I was less than stoked to deal with that, but the quesadillas were good... whatever.

We went back to Bret Little's place for me to finish packing all my stuff and it turned into an indoor old school skate sesh with Davey doing some gnarly sidestepping on the stuntwood. Late shuvs for Collin G. We listened to some island style reggae and I shoved all my stuff into 3 small bags to get myself back in travel mode. We are about to spend 5 days on the road, riding in Houston, winching in Dallas, and generally shredding Texas a new one. I gave Dave some shit for not updating this dealy more and in turn he handed me the laptop with the blog controls ready to rage. It's 1 am and I wanna go to bed. I haven't been sleeping much since I got to Texas. Too much fun shit to be doing...

I love wakeskating.

`nicky T

sorry

wow, so the last time we wrote on this thing was the beginning of the georgia trip? that's just sad. Well pretty much Nahunta is awesome, and we got free reign over Ben's pool gap for as long as we wanted. The trip was nice and chill, and quite a few tricks were put down for sure. It was good vibes all around. We even built a new rail on the pool that was real sick. Travis shredded anything he wanted to. We took our last day to hit up the great city of Jacksonville, where we were greeted with big neighborhood drops and crazy little cement ledges and drops. Pretty much some unexplainable stuff. And more needs to go down. Jacksonville, we will return.

okay so noooowwww I am in Texas for a week of filming with Clint Tompkins, Nick Taylor, and Collin Gee. All winching, baby. I've been hearing a lot about Texas winching, so let's hope it lives up to what i've been hearing. No doubt it will. So all I really have to say so far is that Collin is the man, Nick and him and Clint are going to shred some serious shit, and just wait for the footage! Fun Boots! 2008, baby, we're makin it happen.

beginning of the georgia trip

well, we spent last night at hooker's, and i awoke at 7am to rally the troops to get on the road and get to shredding! unfortunately we had a little issue to deal with when we got to the car, being that both my truck and KL's SUV had gotten burgalerized! Our windows were broken in and several things are now missing, including Roland's computer, several ipods, two skateboards, and two freshy oak wakeskates! If anything shows up, let us know! It was definitely a downer but we still made the best of the situation by riding on hooker's lake until the window was fixed on the truck, so now finally we are about to walk out the door and make some moves towards georgia... couldn't be more stoked.

fun boots, baby

day 3 bradenton

sorry i am a little late on this one. i needed a whole day to recover it was a rowdy one. well it started at 8 am after a four hour nap of hangin out with some adult sodas and as you could expect we were still a little inebriated . mr. daniello woke us up and as soon as we could get something in our stomachs we were ready to hit the water. riding was another gnarly little time. once we got in i passed out and missed filming travis doran who killed it but it was all good because him and stu both rode again behind the jetski, and then mr. soderlind arrived with an amazing little set up to take some pics of stu riding for his third time of the day which i am guessing turned out amazing! the night ended with a trip to applebees on karoke night and the worst part was no one would do a duet with me and i wasnt about to blow everyones minds with a solo debut. around 130am i hoped in my car and headed back to beautiful orlando and i got there 2 and a half hours and 3 redbulls later.

Monday, May 26, 2008

New posts!!!!!!!!  so today we went shredding today! it was awesome! i like to use !!! alot lol...
so its my b-day as of 54 min ago.... rowdy!!!!!! um chillen watching national treasure 2 so true.
i ate the shit out of some jo-to's tonight it was so delicious!!!

-stu-

ok today started off with waking up at the crack of 10 and getting on the water after some dunkin donuts action and a hefty lil gas bill to spend a fun day on the boat. stu went first and he still knows how to dance on the water even if he cant open his eyes. while he was riding we saw travis doran lurking on stus dock so we decided to pick him up. after stu showed every one that you can fist pump in the middle of wake to wake lines jimmy decided to throw down some crazy renentry lines. trav finally opened his eyes enough to put his shoes on so he could ride and throw down some fun little lines and then learning a new trick at the end.  ok so after that i went with the same anna maria celeb on a tour of the island. so it was a good way to end off the day and now here we are in stus living room watching national treasure drinking stus birthday present. tomorrow the bear and some special guests will be riding with us tomorrow. for the record if you know of any one else that can fist pump into a wake to wake backside bigspin let me know because as of now stu is the man for doin that today!!! shh dont tell any one!

-keef-

ok so we are chillin talking to dave hanson and he is so true!!!! fun boots ftw!!!!!!!

this weekend

ok a lot has gone down the last couple of days.

1. any one who is friends of the hanson family know that daves older sister is getting married tomorrow (which is actually today) . what some of you might not know is how true the suit is that dave is wearing. i got to witness it earlier at the wedding rehearsal. i will do my best to get pictures of it you might see it as a dvd menu who knows?

2. jonny kierce, daves neighbor from narcoossee graduated high school and signed a lease today on an apartment in waterside with jimmy chadsey. looks like things are gonna get a little rowdy.

3. on sunday i will be going to bradenton to visit a scene one friend stuart shinn. i will luckily be down there for his birthday. that kid trav doran might be creepin around who knows?

4. oh and sadly andrew pastura has left the otown and has gone to ohio so his brother can teach him to wakeskate. but he is in georgia right now shredding with that guy ben horan.

sitting

Well well well, looks like it has been a good solid week or so since this bad boy has been tickled with a new update...

Quality time in Anna Maria is always pleasant. Nick Taylor is a machine at the tricks he does, he pretty much doesnt stop. unfortunately for us Nick is going to be unavailable and traveling around for the whole rest of the summer, so good thing we got some good stuff when we did! His part will still surely blow minds, and we are definitely NOT done filming him for the vid, he is just going to be gone for a while. Horan is rowdy as ever, we are getting more and more footy of that kid. Jacksonville/Georgia winch trip 1st weekend in June! Also got plans to immortalize the ever-impressive Clint Tompkins on film in Texas right after the Toe Jam out there. Any footy of CLint in Texas winching is always sick. kickflipping 8 foot tall drops just doesn't seem to be an issue for that guy.

I have been straight up CHILLING in Narcoossee later... nearly forgot how awesome it is out here. The apartment at Lake Nan is getting vacated at the end of this month, and it will be a sad goodbye. But luckily for us we got some rowdy homies that will be taking our place and keeping Nan alive! And who knows, maybe Drew and I will end up there again after summer. who knows.

Anyone out there reading this that wants to give us money by any chance? Just wondering.

More plans, more plans: the great land of Virginia will be getting a little visit from Scene One in the month of July. My predictions: we will probably break like three cameras, there may be a helicopter crash or two, and we will most likely stop and smell the flowers quite a bit. houseboats for the win.

Well that's quite a bit for now, but i have more to say! More bl_gging to come.

St. Petersburg winching

Today started out with us scoping out a big gap… a really big gap. Everyone was kind of psyched out going there first thing in the morning and didn’t feel like breaking their knee caps just yet. Fortunately right next door was another gap, this drop not quite so gnarly. The boys got pretty techy on that (and Nick is with us now!), then we got some strange bust from a park ranger laughing about how he called the cops. We split up out of there and headed to a pair of gaps in Seminole county where some craziness went down. Everyone pretty much turned these gaps into a skatepark, shredding those things in ways not thought possible. At the end of the day Roland and Kyle brought us home with some signature winch steeze down a good little three-footer.
Tomorrow we are sessioning the ever-so-trendy “M Gap” and some other big doggers. And then sadly the trip will be over. It sure was a good one, wait for the footage to slap you in the face once Fun Boots! comes out…

south florida winch trip

Well it has been quite a trip thus far, and the freedom of summer has been ringing gloriously through the highways of South Florida in the form of four young adventure-seekers by the names of Ben Horan, Andrew Pastura, Roland Lugo, and myself. We headed straight from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale for two days with our host Grasso (the Boss-o). After some quality shredding and some real good finds in the forms of cement ledges and big drops.

Our next destination was across state in Fort Myers, aka “the 239,” where we knew Matt Engel and Stink would be holding it down pretty hard. Despite some dried up winch gaps (some that brought a tear to my eye to think of their potential), we still got some good times and footage in at Engel’s home lake and even got to session Fort Myer’s new soon-to-be-open cable park. Check it out when you get the chance, it was so fun and the cable is nice. Big thanks to those guys for letting us ride and giving Andrew the opportunity to learn some gnarly tricks off the incline rail.

It was time soon enough to leave the dirty south of the 239 and creep up into Anna Maria Island to meet up with Nick Taylor and do some quality island riding. He took us to his secret rail spot with two jet skis and some impressive switch lines up his sleeve. Watching Nick ride in his home waters shows a new style to his riding, and I’m really stoked on capturing that kind of footage of him. Nick shreds anywhere, though, congrats on the Toe Jam victory buddy!

So now we are posted up in St. Petersburg, Florida on my dad’s sailboat, figuring out what different gaps we will hit within the next two days. It’s been great so far and the crew is tight as ever. Trips like these are the best!

Waiting

Besides not being able to wakeskate right now, i am pretty much living the dream right now. Chillin' in the back patio of my apartment, sun is shining, air is perfect, and we have been shredding all morning. I'm pretty much counting down the hours right now til Horan and Roland get here and we are depart for the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for round two of the Lauderdale winching escipades. Then from there we are creepin across the state back to "the 239" aka Fort Myers, for some quality chillin with Mr. Mathew Engel and some Lake Vista shredding (and to meet up with none other than Nick Taylor). From there we are cruisin up the coast to Anna Maria for some crystal clear, saltwater island shredding and then over to St. Pete for some most excellent winching and sailboat chillin. So yeah, does that sound like livin the dream to you or what??? I'm bringin my laptop like a good trendy filmmaker and will keep updating this stuff throughout the trip. stay tun3d!

harmonicas

I'm playing a harmonica WHILE typing this at the same time... does that blow your mind?

We got a sweeeeet little journey planned out ahead of us. I could probably just give it to your in numbers: 407, 941, 239, 305. thats all you need to know. Lots of winching, hanging with old friends, maybe making some new ones, filming, hammers, etc. etc.

Just ordered some super 8 film so get ready to get artsy! Have any of you guys out there seen the snowboard video "Burning Bridges"? I was watching it the other day and really diggin that vibe...

As I've mentioned before, my knee has been giving me problems the last 8 months, so filming any sort of video part on my side of things is looking pretty dim. I got a few tricks, but i think it's safe to say that I am giving my part to Travis Doran. This kid rips and has some mad flip tricks on lock, shreds some rails, pops like a balloon, and is pretty much learning new tricks every day. There is this wakeskater named George Daniels that you may have heard of? Keith and GD go way back and have started to collaborate to get some footy of George for Fun Boots! Believe it. So prepare to have your mind blown in more ways than you thought possible.

That's it for now! Stay tuned, more action to come!

hairy hairy wake games

it's no worries though... Andy is in the top 4! Way to go, buddy.

Finals are dirty at UCF, and i got two on monday... no good. Did some winching yesterday with Matt Hooker, Clint Tompkins, and Andy P. back at some gnarly incline cement ledge, definitely some stuff went down! I think we have way more footage than we think we do. Just wait, next month is going to be insane!

still breathing

yes! fun boots! is still coming along great lately, despite us not updating this thing in forever... Okay there ARE some exciting things coming up that we have in mind. Keith is done with his spring break fever and is back into filming full-time (jk, keef)...
there have lots of homies and "bros" over lately chillin at Lake Nan with andy and me and val (all in town for toe jam and wake games). So we got some "national" footage as i like to call it (filming people from out of state), and the rails on Nan have been getting a working.
Led Zeppelin still rocks.
Scene One Productions is hopefully getting their own winch soon... this video is already like 50 percent winching, so having our own will open us up for endless possibilities!!!
Believe it or not, andrew just keeps getting better and better...
We have been getting quite a good amount of footage of Travis Doran because he keeps creepin around orlando and shredding his heart out! kid is a straight ripper.
It's very likely that we will soon be getting a LOT of footage of Nick Taylor... he's got big plans.
There is probably more stuff to talk about, like our amazing ideas for an intro and trailer, and the fact that i have NOTHING to do the month of may but film!!! winch trips galore!

stay tuned people

update

well Brandon Rau and Ben Horan came down for a couple of days and slayed some new otown spots and the destroyed a mini ramp.

i just went up in a heli yesterday to mess around with my camera a little bit, it was a silly little time, look for some footage to pop up somewhere.

Andrew Pastura still knows how to wakeskate.

dave went down to the 941 and and got some footage of Trav and Stu.  Trav still says "bro" a lot.

that is all

Waffles

I'm eating waffles right now in Narcoossee, at my parent's house. Figured it was a good time to update. There's pretty much not really much to say right now, except that we've had several plans "fall through" if you will. We are trying to get out to Clear Lake to shred with the Reeders and hit the rails out there, but my apartment complex is so rad that it decided to just park a 40 foot dumpster in the boat ramp area. perfect. We also had scheduled to drive to Jacksonville today to hang with Tyler Mangus and Ben Horan, but apparently the water level up there right now is not very optimum, so we decided to take a rain check on that trip. Plus, Tyler is starting rumors of coming down here soon, and Ben is making it down on Monday. So guess what that means?!?! NEW FOOTAGE!!! WEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee!!! Hopefully next week will be promising: we have new winch gaps to hit, new rails to scope/shred, and I'm really thinking some good stuff is gonna go down with Mr. Horan and Mr. Pastura by our side.

In other news, if you are a company of any kind looking to give support to a crew of hardy wakeskate filmographers, please contact us! Or if you just feel inclined to give us money so we can make this video better than ever, feel free. We got big plans, but we need funnnddssss...so hook it up. ContacT: Scene1Productions@gmail.com
This includes winch companies!!!!!!!!

My knee has still been sharting all over my soul, so still no shredding for Davey-poo, but i remain vigilant in my physical therapy, and hope has not been lost completely! All i want to do is SHREDDDDD my face off, but unfortunately that cannot happen at this time. Patience is key.

Lastly, If your name is Nick Taylor, please call me back.

Sincerely,
the deputy

St. Pete winching

first of all, does this picture work?
Photobucket
if so, you're welcome.

What's been happening in the life of Scene One Productions lately, you ask? Well last weekend Tyler Mangus was heading down to St. Petersburg, Florida to do some winching with some friends down there. I love St. Pete! So we loaded up Andrew and TJ Giesy and headed down friday night. We got the hookup to stay on my dad's sailboat down there, so there was plenty of quality chillin' on that thing, and it was nice having a "home base" we could go back to. Keith made it down Friday night after a hard day of work filming Stu and Andrew Fortenberry at Stu's house all day, and Stu is putting together some of the best impressive wake to wake lines I have ever seen! Unfortunately for everyone Keef had to duck out Saturday morning and missed out on the rest of the weekend. We got to hit two awesome gaps while down there, and there is much left to do! Definitely some good stuff went down, and a huge thank you to everyone we hung out with and who showed us around: Kyle, Tad, and Tyler all rip! All around fun little vacation trip that will for sure need to become a legit film trip here soon. Oh, and all i got to say is, there is WAY more possible at a gap than most people think!

FUN BOOTS! first blog!!!!1!!

Fun Boots! has been underway for several months now, with many more ahead!  Keep checking for more updates, but for now this is basically what's happened so far:

- Yes, it's really called Fun Boots!

- We are happy to present feature parts from Andrew Pastura, Nick Taylor, David Hanson, Drew Daniello, Stu Shinn, Reed Hanson, Ben Horan, Matt Hooker, and Clint Tompkins.  And probably some other dance moves.

- Dave decided to stop bringing down the team, so he finally manned up and emptied his bank account on a dvx.  holla'

- Andrew Pastura moved to florida.  Period.

- Lake Nan is on the way up.

- We got rowdy in Fort Myers with Mr. Mathew Engel and his top secret winch spots.  Nick Taylor and Andy shredded some big-time gnar.  239 knows how to get down.

- We are proud to announce Brian and Tommy Reeder to the Scene One family.

- We actually have time to film, (but nothing to eat) now that Deli Planet closed down (R.I.P.)

- We have discovered that there are literally more people we are filming for this video in Bradenton and Anna Maria Island (which will now be referred to as "941") than in Orlando.  And also that Skinny's is the only restaurant that could even come close to Deli Planet (but still doesn't beat it).

- We re-did the ledge at the Grandma Gap, and it is already officially played out.

- Winching > everything else

- More unknown talent.

- Fort Lauderdale has horrible winch gaps.  DON'T EVER GO THERE!!!  That is all.

- Clint Tompkins proves you can hit big gaps without bindings.

- You may see some still shots of Keith in the near future hanging out of a helicopter and listening to Felix da Housecat.

- There are mountains and seas in our near future...

- Walter never disappoints.

- Put your dancing shoes on.
